As prime contractor, RMS deals directly with municipalities, taking on street maintenance work for cities such as Ana, Arlington, Dallas, Denton, Duncanville, Farmers Branch, Haltom City, Highland Park, Mansfield, Springtown, Rockwell, Weatherford and many others in the Metroplex and surrounding areas.
Also as prime contractor, RMS works for businesses regardless of size or complexity of projects. For instance, RMS contracted to layout and paint six parking stalls, including safe public entry and exit points for a small business. The work was completed on schedule, without interrupting business, to the complete satisfaction of the Client.
Of a much greater extent, RMS striped 15,750 parking stalls, including many "pull-through" or longer stalls and complex access routes. The job totaled over 340,000 lineal feet, requiring RMS to utilize a GPS survey to layout the project to exact specifications. In all, RMS applied four different colors, designating handicap parking, fire lanes, main thoroughfares, and special exhibit areas, etc. The overall job included installation of wheel stops, pole signs and other special applications.
Although the original plans, designs and details were often revised by the Owner on a very tight and intricate schedule, the job was completed on time and budget to the Owner's complete satisfaction.
